everything. all at once. For the most part when I feel like writing about camp I ignore the small bad parts of the day and just think about the good ones. But this week has been awful and it's only freakin Tuesday. Half of the girls in my division are bicurious. one of them is madly in love with one of my co-counselors. everyone who's anyone is hooking up. so you think with all the mad hormones flyin' around we'd all be in great moods right?! wrong. I have like 10 girls, PMS'ing at the same damn time. and believe me, it's contagious.
woooooooooooooosahhhh. the best part of my day is the kickbutt thunderstorms going on outside. it's very relaxing. and zumba, of course. I don't even know if I've talked about zumba yet on here, but it's this latin-inspired style of dance and Renee teaches it as a club. So for an hour and a half every day, I go off to zumbaland and dance my little heart out. I loveloveLOVE it. She had me lead the class for a couple of days when she was on crutches, it was pretty sweet.
anywho. off to another lame night of rec and pool where I will hide out and play uno :)

Brazil Lions!
So yesterday, on yet another wonderful birthday of America, I was instead cheering my face off for Brazil and subtly putting down USA. Why, because yesterday was International Day of course! oh the irony. But seriously, yesterday was a ton of fun. It was this whole big long marathon of competitions between 6 different teams from 6 different countries. I was on team Brazil. We won every sport we competed in AND the kickass relay race at the end. The last leg of the relay was diving into a kids pool of slime. pictures to come :)
The fireworks at UMass were awesome. Meghan even had this sweet flashlight with a siren on it and shined it on every group to do hand checks. good times. The ride home took approximately 8 years because of all the traffic but we eventually got back and I passed out pronto. The only down part to my day was poor Renee rolling her ankle. The nurse thinks it might be a stress fracture.. sucks. Renee is by far my favorite person here, she makes me laugh every day. Even with her messed up ankle she said to me on the ride home what a fun day it had been.
Anyway, I just got up early to go running with one of my campers. I can officially run a mile and a half no problem. I'm 100% impressed with myself, and her for that matter. She wants to join the cross country team next year in school. But now I must get myself ready to serve bfast!
